Asynchronous Piano Lessons — Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 21 October 2026
1. PAYMENT AND REFUNDS
All payments for Asynchronous Piano Lessons are non-refundable.
By making payment, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
2. LESSON VALIDITY
Each Asynchronous Piano Lesson is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
Lessons must be used within this period and cannot be carried forward beyond the expiry date.
3. VIDEO SUBMISSION
Videos should be submitted via WeTransfer to: info@markstawmanpiano.com
Videos should be within the following recommended lengths:
- 30-minute lesson: 5–7 minutes
- 45-minute lesson: 7–9 minutes
- 60-minute lesson: 10–14 minutes
4. FEEDBACK AND TURNAROUND TIME
Feedback videos will normally be provided as soon as reasonably possible during my working days.
I do not work on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays, and feedback is not provided during periods when the studio is closed for holidays or other scheduled breaks.
Videos submitted towards the end of the working week, immediately before a holiday, or during a studio closure may therefore take longer to receive feedback.
While every effort will be made to provide feedback promptly, feedback on the next working day or within a specific timeframe cannot be guaranteed.
5. STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Students are responsible for submitting their videos via WeTransfer and ensuring that the recording is clear enough for their playing to be heard and assessed.
Students should use each lesson within the 12-month validity period. Failure to submit a video within this period does not entitle the student to a refund or extension.
6. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By purchasing an Asynchronous Piano Lesson, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions apply to all Asynchronous Piano Lessons purchased through Mark Stawman Piano Teacher.
