Piano Coaching - Asynchronous Piano Lessons

Asynchronous piano lessons

Asynchronous piano lessons for those who can’t commit to a fixed weekly schedule

As a professional online piano teacher, I offer personalised recorded piano lessons using an asynchronous, highly effective and focused approach. This method is particularly useful for students who may be unable to commit to a fixed weekly schedule. Notably, the asynchronous approach has become increasingly popular among my students.

I have observed that my approach has been particularly beneficial to students preparing for the ABRSM Performance Grades. With the opportunity to record themselves playing through the required pieces regularly, students can watch their tailored piano lesson video several times weekly and complete the associated tasks at their convenient time.

About Me

Pianist, Accompanist and Piano Teacher from the UK

Originally from North Yorkshire in the United Kingdom, I embarked on my journey as a musician at the age of seven when I began teaching myself how to play the piano. I had my first piano lesson at the end of seven, and at seventeen, I moved to Leeds, where I studied at the esteemed Leeds Conservatoire of Music, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Music with honours. Throughout my tenure there, I was honoured with several awards in piano performance and gave several recitals as a professional pianist. After earning my degree, I pursued my education further at the University of Leeds, where I obtained my Master’s in Music Performance.

At the age of twenty-one, I established my own piano studio, where I worked as a piano tutor and professional accompanist. My responsibilities included accompanying candidates for ABRSM music exams, concerts, and auditions.

In 2017, I moved to Spain, where I began my work as an online piano teacher. With the support of my existing students in the United Kingdom, who opted to have online lessons with me, I helped build my online and face-to-face studio and continue to teach many of them today.
