Experienced and Qualified UK Online Piano Teacher
I am a passionate, experienced and friendly face-to-face and online piano teacher who provides piano lessons to beginners and advanced pianists. I have a lot of experience teaching both children and adults, and I believe it’s never too late to learn. Many of my students are retired adults who finally have time to dedicate to learning a new skill, and they progress very well.
Many students play only for pleasure, but most take ABRSM piano exams, starting as beginners and progressing to grade 8 and beyond. Some of my online piano teacher work involves preparing students for ABRSM Practical and Performances Grades; these exams give students a tangible goal and help motivate them to achieve their best.
I provide piano lessons in Murcia, Spain, using a well-rounded and complete teaching method in a purpose-built studio and a brand-new Yamaha grand piano.
Professional Online Piano Lessons for Adults and Children
As an experienced online piano teacher, I strive to give the best online piano lessons possible. Using three top-of-the-range cameras, a professional microphone and screen-sharing technology, I provide clear and concise instructions to get the most out of my students.
Learning piano online is an excellent alternative for many people, especially if they find travelling difficult. Moreover, there are many benefits to online piano lessons, such as being able to record classes, demonstrate easily, and play in the comfort of your own home.
Personalised, Pre-Recorded Piano Lesson Videos
As an online piano teacher, I also offer tailored-made, pre-recorded piano lessons via video exchange (asynchronous piano lessons).
These are especially useful for students who can’t commit to a fixed weekly schedule. Asynchronous piano lessons are a highly effective and focused learning method that is increasing in popularity.
You can watch the tailored piano lesson video several times over the week and complete the tasks at a time that suits you.
I can give my piano lessons in both English and Spanish.
Originally from North Yorkshire in the UK, I taught myself to play the piano when I was 7 and had my first piano lesson at 14.
When I was 17, I moved to Leeds to study at Leeds Conservatoire of Music, obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Music (B.A. Hons). During this time, I received several awards in piano performance and gave many recitals as a professional pianist. Subsequently, I studied at the University of Leeds and undertook a Master’s in Music Performance (M.Mus).
At age 21, I set up my own piano studio in the UK and began working as a piano tutor and professional accompanist. This involved accompanying candidates for ABRSM music exams, concerts and auditions.
When I moved to Spain in 2017, I began my work as an online piano teacher. Luckily I had the support of my existing students in the UK, who decided to continue piano lessons with me online. Due to the success of this learning method, I continue to teach many of them today.
